As we wait for the rest of the world to reopen there are wonderful underwater adventures we can enjoy NOW!
Belize has been at the forefront of creating and following safety protocols since reopening their borders in March.
If you are vaccinated and ready for an adventure, let’s get back in the water! Join me on a weeklong snorkel trip in Belize this July.
The Belize Barrier Reef is the second largest of its kind in the world, and home to some spectacular snorkeling. The reef’s 400 cayes, 3 atolls, and 7 marine reserve areas make up a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stretches over 190 miles in length.
Our fishy friends we look forward to seeing again include groupers, jacks, snappers, tarpons, nurse sharks, eagle rays, barracudas, slipper lobsters, cuttlefish, turtles and toadfish.
Luscious sea fans, huge crimson gorgonians and giant orange elephant ear sponges are thriving and healthy in Belize. Large stands of robust Elkhorn coral and proud pilar corals rise from the sea floor, purple sea fans wave in the gentle current.
I’ve charted the lovely Belize Aggressor III for our Belize snorkel adventure. From the comfort of our liveaboard we’ll experience a special itinerary featuring the two best reef systems in Belize; Turneffe Atoll and Glovers Reef .
ITINERARY:
Saturday July 31 arrive Belize. A free transfer to the Radisson Fort George Hotel is provided at 12pm and 4:30pm.
At 6 pm the yacht departs for its night anchorage to prepare for our snorkel activities beginning Sunday morning.
Sunday August 1-Friday August 6 Explore the vibrant, shallow reefs in Belize on an exclusive itinerary designed for us to snorkel Turneffe Atoll and Glovers Reef. Water temps in July are decadently warm at 84 degrees
We can access the reefs right from the “mothership”. Most of our snorkel excursions will be from the deck at the rear of the yacht.
The skiff is available for an easy pickups from snorkel sites when needed. We’ll have up to 3-4 snorkel sessions a day.
Plan on a dreamy itinerary of eat-snorkel-sleep repeat!

Shopping, a visit to the Belize Zoo, Cave Tubing, or a tour of a Mayan Ruin can be arranged, weather permitting.
