I never feel more present and alive than when I’m in the ocean. There is something so magical about slipping into an underwater wonderland and becoming one with swirls of jewel-colored fish. Just to hover above a coral reef that stretches endlessly in an explosion of colors and shapes is breathtaking. If you are equally enthralled by the beauty beneath the surface, you’ve come to the right place.

Snorkeling Etc. Inc. specializes in dedicated snorkel trips for serious snorkelers.
We’ve all had the experience of snorkeling off a dive boat full of divers and being dropped into the blue with reefs 60 feet below. Snorkelers need and deserve trips that focus on a variety of marine envirornments ideal for snorkeling and free-diving.
Snorkeling Etc. trips are designed by snorkelers for snorkelers! Your travel companons are fellow snorkel addicts eager to explore remote and pristine reefs. We share the love of being on and in the water AND the longer the better!

We’ll experience a variety of underwater environments. Depending on the destination these may include gorgeous shallow reefs teeming with parrotfish, butterflyfish, and anthias; dramatic walls with majestic pelagics cruising by; unique mangrove systems with coral encrusted roots and half beaks, archer fish and pajama cardinal fish peeking out and a personal favorite are manta cleaning stations. I swoon for mantas!

The vibe and pacing is totally geared to snorkeling. We are typically in the water 4-6 hours a day.
Each day will bring new adventure and underwater explorations on pristine and stunning reefs.
Travel destinations and dates are carefully picked to take advantage of optimum climate and sea conditions.

A number of the snorkel trips are resort-based. There are some awesome and unique eco-lodges that have exceptional house reefs. When I find a gem of place that warrants bringing a group there you’ll see it featured on the “Trips” page.
The majority of the expeditions take place on liveaboards. Liveaboards allow access to remote, pristine reefs. The variety of marine life and ecosystems expands with the privilege of mobility. Our moveable “home” allows us the flexibility to follow the best ocean conditions in the region.

All the resorts and liveaboard vessels are carefully chosen in order to provide the most comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience possible. Each trip is unique and is designed to take advantage of the best the area has to offer.

Besides enough time to snorkel to your heart’s content, there is plenty of leisure time for meals, reading and sharing the days adventures with your fellow travelers.
Depending on the area we are in, there may also be village visits and hikes available. While it’s a group trip, there is a lot of freedom and independence to snorkel and explore at your own pace.

We snorkelers are an easy-going, inquisitive, environmentally sensitive tribe. We enjoy exploring and learning about the reefs and sharing the experience with like-minded travelers. There is a true camaraderie that develops when sharing such remarkable experiences. One of the highlights are the deep, authentic friendships that formed quickly and often continue for many years.

Whether you are traveling alone, with a partner or a group of friends, you are welcomed to join! If you are traveling solo, I’ve been very successful in matching travelers together. I have been fortunate to explore remote parts of the globe to experience unique cultures, places and reef systems. My combined skills as an experienced, avid snorkeler and travel professional in the industry for 40 + years, uniquely qualify me to organize trips specifically designed and dedicated for snorkelers. I’m excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with you and invite you to join a unique snorkel adventure.
